Rachel and Justin met on the dating app "Hinge," in January of 2024. On their first date at BJ's, they immediately discovered that they had more in common than they could have imagined. They both attended Barbara Bush Middle School and Ronald Reagan High School, and had both been involved in their schools' choir programs. Although Rachel graduated two years ahead of Justin, the two shared much in common, including mutual friends and teachers. However, they never met while in high school because God did not bring these two together until the timing was perfect. After one marvelous and exciting year of dating, Justin and Rachel got engaged on January 19, 2025.

Anyone who knows Justin and/or Rachel knows that fun and adventure are top priority, which is why instead of hosting a traditional wedding ceremony, they flew to Las Vegas and eloped in the Valley of Fire State Park on May 2, 2025. The ceremony was beautiful and intimate, as the couple cherished the opportunity to celebrate their love in the presence of God, each other, and a minister.
